Close to TTC Subway + Parking Lot On-Site!
Our building is located 1 minute away from Greenwood Subway Station (TTC Line 2). There is also a large parking lot behind our building and lots of street parking near the front entrance. We offer in-person classes everyday; Monday to Friday, Saturday & Sunday at 1245 Danforth Ave, Toronto.

How can I reschedule a class?Please email us at least 4 days (96 hours) before the scheduled start time to change your class date. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late to a class, you will not be permitted to attend on that date.

How long does it take to get my certificate?After succesfully completing your exam, you will be issued a temporary card from the Lifesaving Society, which is valid for 90 days. This acts as an interim card while you are waiting for your permanent card in the mail. The permanent card typically takes 4-6 weeks to arrive. You can show your employer or school the temporary card in the meantime.

Is there parking available?Yes! Danforth CPR is located at 1245 Danforth Avenue, Toronto. There is a large paid parking lot behind the building. There is also paid street parking in-front of the building.

When does my certificate expire?Standard First Aid and Emergency First Aid certificates are valid for 3 years after the date of your class. Basic Life Support is valid for 2 years after the date of your class. Once your certificate expires, you will need to book another course.

What should I bring to class?Please bring a piece of ID (drivers licence or health card), a water bottle, and wear comfortable clothing.

Is your training WSIB approved?Yes! Para Aid is an affiliate member of the Lifesaving Society of Ontario. All three of our courses are WSIB approved in accordance with Regulation 1101.

Is your location close to public transit?Yes! Para Aid is located at 1245 Danforth Avenue, Toronto. We are a 1 minute walk from Greenwood TTC Subway Station on Line 2.

How much does the class cost?Standard First Aid is $129.95 Emergency First Aid is $90.40 CPR HCP is $79.10

Can I take the course online?No; all classes are in-person. The Lifesaving Society does not allow online courses at this time. CPR is a physical skills which requires hands-on practice.

Can I use my certificate for work for school?Yes! After successfully completing your exam, you will be issued a certification card from the Lifesaving Society. This certificate is WSIB approved for all workplaces and school programs in Ontario.

What happens if I miss my class?If you do not attend a scheduled in-person class you will lose your full payment. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late to class, you will not be permitted to attend on that date.
